Tara has assembled a very thorough list of blog posts about bloggercon. Found via Betsy Devine, who has a great index of photos.

It's a beautiful day in Cambridge and I'm sitting on a ledge at the law school's pound hall. Around me are Andrew Grumet and Frank Catanzaro, having a very creative discussion. They are talking about an idea Frank brought up in Lisa Williams' Visions from Users session.

The essential idea is to help real time chat conversations blossom around blog posts. Frank thinks this should work as a feed: you get a dynamic buddy list of who's participating.

A related question may be how to deliver this information. One idea I'd like to consider further is the use of an IM bot to represent your blog. What if there was a shimonobot that was integrated with my blog? You could sign up for alerts, that seems pretty straightforward. What else would you do? How would an IM agent act on my behalf in blog-like ways: community building, content management, social networking?
