<p>Plakaty.ru has a huge selection of images of Russian posters, including some cool historical ones from films, advertisements, and propoganda. I really like <a href="http://eng.plakaty.ru/posters?cid=3&amp;part=Ð&lsquo;&amp;id=496">this one</a> for Brilliantovaya Ruka (<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0062759/">The Diamond Arm</a>), a comedy filmed in 1968 that my grandmother used to show me. It turns out Brilliantovaya Ruka is a still-popular classic of Soviet film, with a variety of sites offering such things as <a href="http://www.astrologer.ru/Nostradamiana/kino/bril/bril_trn.html">a collection of sound bites</a> and <a href="http://melody.meta.ua/?get=1&amp;code=4&amp;item=top&amp;song=210051965">a mobile phone ring tone</a>. You can also buy it on DVD from <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006IUJ1/002-1734882-5194456?%5Fencoding=UTF8&amp;v=glance">Amazon</a>.<!--f0b203e2d46864d3897e6a12f7b12f42--></p>

Maybe I can reawaken the Russian-speaking parts of my brain just by listening to lots of mediocre Russian music?
